Recipes: F1 Pancakes/Waffles/Mug Cake

Protein Pancakes

Ingredients:

- 1/2 cup of water

- 1 egg

- 3 egg whites

- 2 scoops Herbalife Formula 1 Nutritional Shake Mix, Cookie Crunch

- 2 scoops Herbalife Protein Drink Mix, Vanilla Flavour

- 2 tbsp rolled oats

Instructions:

Combine, Blend, and pour onto a hot griddle/non-stick frying pan.

Japanese Pancakes

Ingredients:

- 2 scoops Herbalife Formula 1 Nutritional Shake Mix, Smooth Chocolate

- 2 egg yolks separated from white

- 3 egg whites (beaten till stiff )

- 3 tablespoons skimmed or soy milk

- half teaspoon baking powder

Instructions:

Beat yolks with milk, then add baking powder and F1 powder. Mix well.
Fold the egg whites lightly a little at a time into the mixture.
Lightly oil a pan with oil, add little spoon fulls of mixture and sprinkle water drops to create steam and close the lid. Leave for about 4 minutes per side. When flipping over splash drops of water again and quickly close lid. 

Topping ideas:

You can sprinkle a little cocoa powder, or you can top with berries, and honey. Maybe some lemon zest and squeezed lemon juice.

 

Protein Waffle

Ingredients:

- 3 scoops Herbalife Formula 1 Nutritional Shake Mix, Strawberry Delight

- 50ml skimmed milk

- 2 medium eggs

Toppings

- 2 tablespoons fat-free Greek yoghurt

- 6 strawberries chopped 

Instructions:

In a bowl, mix together the F1 Strawberry Delight powder, eggs and milk until you have a smooth batter. Set the mixture aside while you preheat a waffle iron and spray it with non-stick spray.

Once hot, add the protein batter to the iron and cook for 4-5 minutes.

Transfer the waffles on to a serving plate and top with Greek yoghurt and chopped strawberries.

Rebuild Waffle

Ingredients:

- 2 scoops Herbalife24 Rebuild Strength - Chocolate
- 2 tablespoons flour
- quarter tablespoon baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon canola oil (optional, but makes the waffles crispy)
- 5 tablespoons skim milk

Instructions:

In a bowl, mix together all ingredients until you have a smooth batter. Set the mixture aside while you preheat a waffle iron and spray it with non-stick spray.
Once hot, add the batter to the iron and cook for 4-5 minutes.
Transfer the waffles on to a serving plate and top with your choice of toppings.

Choc Mug Cake

Ingredients:

2 scoops Herbalife Formula 1 Nutritional Shake Mix, Smooth Chocolate
- 1 scoop Herbalife Protein Drink Mix, Vanilla Flavour
- 6 tablespoons non-fat milk OR low fat milk OR almond milk
- 1 egg

Instructions:

Spray the inside of a large coffee mug with pan spray, or wipe lightly with a paper towel dipped in canola oil.
Combine the ingredients in a blender and mix well. 
Pour mixture into prepared coffee mug and microwave on high power for about 2 to 3 minutes until puffed and cooked through.
